Australian artist Hazel Dooney is giving away some of her work to celebrate the 500th entry she wrote for her blog! Cool, huh?
"I've decided to offer everyone a chance to own a Dooney original: a small, limited edition, color photographic study from my Lake Eyre series, titled Study for Modern Strategies For Survival : Resized For Mass Consumption (see the entry below). Each print is stamped, signed, dated and numbered on verso. The image size is around 2" x 3" on 4" x 6" paper.Of course, only 500 are available. To obtain one, all you have to do is email me your name, snail mail and email addresses and my Sydney studio will post it to you (at my expense) by surface mail."
I sent her my info, and am looking forward to receiving another notice from the post office! Check out her blog for more details... The posting is from a few weeks ago, but as of a couple of days ago, there is still time to request one! Generous of her, huh? Make sure to check out Hazel's website to see some of her great work.
I am Melissa Banigan. I've been many things under the sun, but am currently a single mom raising an amazing kid in Brooklyn, writing novels and short stories, and working on some art (canvases and paper). I also, under the moniker melifera, produce off-the-cusp embroidered clothing and bags.
