Let's stimulate the economy by buying stuff on Etsy!

Yesterday the Dow gained nearly 500 points- that's about 7%, people!

Watching the Obama administration try to thaw the nearly frozen market has me thinking that all of us little people could all lend a helping hand by throwing some cash around- not in the direction of the banks (Obama, we'll leave that up to you to figure out), but rather straight into the pockets of small business owners.

So today, my friends, I offer a selection of great Etsy products that share the same theme...

SUCCESS!

Happy stimulating!

Secret to Success pierced earrings

These 'Secret to Success' pierced earrings by EarthsOpulence would be perfect for me to wear to a job interview (if my recruiters could even get me a job interview in this current economic climate). I think it is entirely appropriate to mention that EarthsOpulence is a member of the Starving Artists Team on Etsy!

DELICATE MALACHITE TREE OF LIFE OR PROSPERITY TREE PENDANT

This 'Delicate Malachite Tree of Life or Prosperity Tree Pendant', by glassgoddessjewelry, is gorgeous, isn't it? I love the delicate silver cords. Malachite, according to glassgoddess, "is said to bring money, abundance, prosperity." Bring it on!!

My Personal Quest Would Have Been Much More Successful Had I Not Gotten Involved - 8 x 10 ART PRINT

This 8" x 10" art print by Mincing Mockingbird is called 'My Personal Quest Would Have Been Much More Successful Had I Not Gotten Involved." How many times have I had this thought...? Check out the full description of the work here.

I AM A SUCCESSFUL ARTIST archival injet print

This print by Linocutboy says it all. Make sure to check out the rest of his work- I love it all (he would fit in perfectly here in Williamsburg, Brooklyn).

Of course, please help contribute to my own success by visiting my own Etsy shop: www.melifera.etsy.com!

  2. My pleasure! I don't have a kabillion readers (yet;), but hopefully I'll be able to direct even a couple more readers your way (not that you're in any way lacking a strong readership!!).

Greenpoint, huh?! That's where my daughter and I first moved when we came to NY, about a block from McCarren Park. Small world... small New York!

Hope you enjoy the Etsy page!
